Vice President Constantino Chiwenga today launched the Presidential Heifer pass-on scheme for farmers who lost their cattle in the 2020 January disease, The Herald reports. Farmers in Manicaland and Masvingo particularly Buhera and Gutu Districts will receive 194 heifers and they will pass on the first calves of the heifers to other farmers.
The launch took place at Taguta Farm in Chipinge today.
