The agricultural equipment suppliers in the country say they are ready to play their part on the modernisation agenda of the Zimbabwean economy through agriculture.
Agriculture world over has gone scientific throughout the value chain from planting to harvesting to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the sector.
Mr Austin Chinyangare said as Zimbabwe faces prospects of an el nino, the main thrust as agricultural equipment suppliers is to offer new technologies that will allow the retention of moisture in the ground which is critical to mitigate effects of draught and increase better yields.
Another supplier Mr Keith Lowe said the employing of new technologies in terms of equipment will revolutionarise farming methods in the sector especially when one considers smooth transition from summer to winter season.
Participation of stakeholders in the agricultural sector will see Zimbabwe achieving its growth targets that will kick start and see vision 2030 to fruition.
